The Situation

In the spirit of continuing change and improvements, our existing administrator is growing into a new role. To support our Office Manager - we're now looking for a replacement Office Administrator.

The Challenge

MAQE is constantly evolving and not all of our administrative needs have been turned into a consistent process to reduce the administrative burden.  There are also 60 people to support along with the needs of the C-Levels that need to be attended to and the work comes in waves.

The Opportunity

While the day to day operations might be challenging, at MAQE we have "crews" - which are independent groups of staff that are charged with the responsibility and autonomy of reaching a specific objective for the company. For example, we have a crew for making staff happy. They are charged with finding and arranging activities for birthdays, company parties and trips etc.  

More specifically, you will:

  • Support the Office Manager and help co-ordinate office operations to ensure efficient working of the office for the company and staff.
  • Be familiar with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Liaise with vendors/suppliers relating office needs (equipment, stationary, services etc)
  • Support staff with administrative needs (expenses, information etc)
  • Support general record keeping to keep the office running efficiently or for legal compliance
  • Able to meet our Level 2 or 3 expectations of a Office Administrator in our salary ladder.

    In addition to other Office Administrative duties, the successful candidate may also join one or more cross-disciplinary teams, called Crews, and help work on initiatives for the company as a whole.

    Job requirements

    We don’t particularly care about age, gender, ethnicity, work experience, or education etc. Life has taught us that greatness comes in all shapes and sizes. 

    But. We do need you to speak Thai fluently The reality of this work requires Thai language skills due to processing of local government documentation. 


    • We don't care about degrees, but you should have at least :
      • 1+ years of office administration experience
    • Experience of bookkeeping/accounting (PND1,3,5,91, SSO filing etc)
    • Experience of working with Thai and International staff
    • Experience of using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
    • Ideally, experience of using an web-based accounting / HR software
    • Ideally, experience of BOI / Work Permit procedures
    • Service and quality minded
    • Good Thai and English communication skills
