The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior HR Admin to join us in our mission to "change how the world works". You will become part of the PeopleOps/HR circle and work as a team to create and maintain a workplace where people can be fulfilled.


We are not a traditional top-down company. Things are not hierarchical here. Authority at MAQE doesn’t come from one’s title, but rather one’s ability. Our HR needs to be someone who can strike a balance between rules and flexibility. We are not looking for an HR person who comes to make sure everyone comes to work on time. We are looking for an HR person who comes to make sure everyone comes to work happily and engagingly. More specifically, you will help us to

  • Provide support to MAQErs in all things related to Employee records, documents, data, attendance, insurance, and other benefits.

  • Ensure all payroll data is accurate and ready for processing on time.

  • Ensure all governmental regulations are followed related, but not limited to, Thai Labor law, Social Security Fund, Personal Income Tax, Student Loans, and Immigration Law, and documents are submitted to the appropriate authority as and when required.

  • Create, store, and protect all Employee documents; i.e. Employee Contracts, as required by law

  • Assist non-Thai Employee in their legal journey; position request, visa, work permit, 90-day report


Job requirements

What you can offer:

  • Speak and write fluent Thai

  • At least 5 years of experience in general HR, with hands-on experience in Payroll. (Experience with the KBank Payroll system and ByteHR is a bonus.)

  • Knowledgeable in Thai Labor Law and Immigration regulations.

  • Knowledge of PDPA is a bonus

  • Able to work by him- or herself, without supervision, self-managed to deliver work on time and error free.

  • Able to communicate effectively, with service-mind and humility.

  • Able to keep & handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Able to advise and/or be resourceful to find (and verify) information to advise top management in all things HR-related.
